From safety records
to operational intelligence.

Safety observations contain early signals. The challenge is finding them before volume turns useful information into background noise.

PUBLIC DEMONSTRATOR / ANONYMISED DATA

Available data.
Limited visibility.

Safety-card systems are good at collecting individual observations. They are less effective at helping an operational team see the system behind them.

Recurring conditions can be spread across different wording, locations and dates. Reviewing records one by one makes it difficult to detect themes, emerging hotspots or whether the same problem keeps returning.

The design question was direct: could a lightweight browser application turn an existing export into something useful for an operational conversation?

Analysis without another platform.

The prototype accepts CSV or Excel data and performs the analysis locally in the browser. Records are grouped into industrial safety themes, examined over time and made searchable without sending the source data to an external service.

01

Theme classification

Multi-keyword grouping across twelve practical safety categories.

02

Trend and hotspot detection

Temporal patterns, safe/unsafe distribution and locations requiring attention.

03

Operational query

Search, filter and refine the underlying records rather than relying only on charts.

04

Command brief

Converts analysis into a concise summary that can support an operational review.

A prototype that travelled.

The underlying approach was subsequently taken into production by a former employer.

That is the important result. The public application is not the production system and contains no employer data. It demonstrates how a narrowly framed operational problem can move from an idea, to a working prototype, to a capability considered useful enough to adopt.

This remains an analytical aid. Its classifications and risk signals support professional review; they do not replace investigation, operational context or safety judgement.
